While reading this I starting to think that most n00bs joining our server aren't that bad at all wink

How the hell can you lose your pistol during the approach?

And let me repost this general rules of combat: http://www.megazone.org/Random/murphy.shtml

In the dark after you feel for the cartridge with your left index finger during a press check of your pistol, you go to put away your pistol and forget to re-engage the retaining strap of your tactical holster. My holster is completely open at the rear so my tactical light doesn't hang up my draw. If I were to forget the strap, there is nothing holding my pistol in the holster except the light pressure from the sides of the holster. Two or three jogging steps later it would probably flop to the ground. On grass you would never hear it. In the dark no one would see it.

Well, I do not carry firearms in rl. And obviously a pistol can become a victim of gravity when not holstered the right way. But I thought a swat member should be trained well enough to take care of his weapons during a deployment, even of his sidearm.

(just replace the word "rifle" with pistol" wink )

A good trick is a nylon, paracord, or rawhide string tied to your belt and pistol ;-)

How to configure the MarksMod for good gameplay:
1. make sure the word "noob" is in the restricted word list
2. make sure the server auto-bans everyone who uses a restricted word (restrictedwordactionlevel = 1; restrictedwordaction = ban)
-> players which admit "I'm noob to this game" get banned automatically xD xD xD

Special Thx to SAD, really made my day guys biggrin
