Here is first lesson of testing tactics training. Here you can sign up to training. First training will be your choice time and date. And after we will see if you are able to keep it.

Descriptions:

1) Criss-Cross (Cross-Over)
- its not "our" classical crossover thing actually Me want to rename it but this CrossOver is about something else
- This crossover is used in stealth entries when operators will cross eachother during entry. One operator is crouching and other is standing.
- This entry technique can be used after scan or after split stack when scanner after scan or guy ("no handle side pointman" on opposite side) (in split stack) will crouch and enter room opposite side where door opens and second operator (in stacking form "handle side pointman") will enter room as second but behind the door. So it means scanner ("not handle side pointman" in split stack) enters first will use door as shield.
- in real: movement must be done at same time operators must be really close together not really possible in a game. So we will train this simple modification written above.

Original description (including picture on website)

- A room-assault technique in which each operator makes entry by rapidly crossing
through the doorway (well out of the fatal funnel) to a position inside, and opposite of where the operator began his entry.

Pros:
-Each operator can see a big part of his AOR before he enters the room ( http://cqb-team.com/crossover.php )

Cons:
-It takes much practice to time the movement so that it is fast but the operators don’t bump in to each other.
-The operators can be exposed for crossfire from each others weapons ( http://cqb-team.com/crossover.php )

2) High-Low
- A two-man dual protective cover technique in which one operator (coverman) is standing upright and directly behind a second operator who is in a crouched position (pointman).
This clearing procedure allows firearms coverage in either moving or stationary positions with the operators weapons focused simultaneously upon one point or area.
The same technique is used if a operator have a stoppage in his primary weapon

Pros:
-This is a very fast technique to clear a corner.
- If there is a threat he is forced to shoot at one of the operators. He can’t engage both at the same time, this hesitation allows the operators to take the first shoot

Cons:
-It takes practice to make the team move at the same time

This technique is also used when a team need to clear a T-intersection.

3) Modified Stacking Up Formation (Raptors idea-so he will write his thoughts later)

After the training I have a good feelings. We learned some new stuff and also we proved that these tactics work very well in a game as well especially High-Low technique. We High-Lowed every corner in California Bank and Genovese and Feinbloom map and suspects didnt kill any of operators during these tactical movement. It was ´cause High-Low is very fast movement so suspects didnt even have a time to react. Also Criss-Cross (Cross-Over) is very useful but this moment is nothing new in SWAT community ´cause they use this technique also other servers and players.

1st Note: *we still need to practice these tactics for perfection*
2nd Note: *Very important during these movements and not only in these are communication and synchronization*
3rd Note: *We havent trained Modified stacking form ´cause Raptor was AFK. So we will train it next time plus again High-Low and Criss-Cross (Cross-Over)*

With the Cross-Over another con would be the suspect being able to run through the middle of the two operators. That is why the second pro talks of crossfire, because it has happened before in reality! Yes, this is debatable but it is a con, so let it settle in the mind.

There are also multiple methods of the 'high-low'. Some better than others for different situations. smile Some tactical companies teach many forms and methods. One rule is, as high man, never go over your low man's "limit", i.e. their right limit being their right shoulder otherwise you may compromise the team and then you only have ONE MUZZLE on the target instead of TWO MUZZLES.

Guys I am setting up the training of Criss-Cross (Cross-Over) and High-Low on this weekend. Probably Saturday 5 UTC and after this training we should decide if we will apply these tactics in our tactical arsenal or not.

I'll be afk this weekend. Since only Luis confirmed the training date so far, could you make the training at the first October weekend?
