I just watched the first hour of the recording. Still need to watch the rest, cut the boring parts and upload the result to youtube.
However my conclusion so far is that there are 2 different types of players during the briefing and equipping phase:
Disciplined: when they don’t have a specific order, they remain calm and get out of the way. Double checking their own gear, preparing their vehicle, trying to anticipate their next order. In short words: they stay focused and do their best to speed up this phase.
Undisciplined: when they don’t have a specific order, they behave like first class pupils. Leaving their vehicles, walking around, getting in front of other vehicles, getting into other vehicles, grouping up with random people to start some chit chat, looking at AI guards. In short words: they do nothing to support their leader, or they even give him/her a hard time to stay in control of the element(s).

Now make an educated guess which of the 2 groups complains the most during the debriefing that the equipping phase took too long...

I had great fun doing this mission. Though I agree with Raptor on the logistical phase and can fully understand why he wasn't too happy about it. For whoever belongs to the undisciplined group I'd like to see you guys more on top of your game on the next event. Such a big logistical preparation goes best if the leader is able to talk with everyone listening at all times, meaning we need to cut on the chit chat. We should all have a pen and paper ready at the start of an event, always. When we do not have such a logistical phase having a pen and paper can be of assistance in other times, like when the recon phase was briefed a lot of information was given to us by Raptor, having a pen and paper can help us remember by writing key points down.

In the leader's perspective having the team on stand by, lined up and listening, will make it very easy to give them orders. Having the team walking off and chatting makes that quite hard. I'm not saying we shouldn't talk, when you do want to talk set yourself to whisper or near whisper with shacktac ACRE volume.

I believe I missed a few things that Raptor said to me myself, so I'll try and pay more attention to what Raptor is saying.

For Raptor, I'm known on school for writing incredibly fast (and ugly), but I can't write nearly as fast as you were expecting from us.

I had great fun this event, especially the recon phase and the actual assault, the mission went great. But I hope we can improve on our seriousness during longer logistical parts.

Or avoid so long logistical parts in the future. I thought it would be a nice tactical challenge if you have to select and transport your gear, and establish a temporal operational base. But actually it felt just like a diligent, routine piece of work. Though it might be more interesting if you don't have friendly forces around and hence can not make up a guarded TOB right outside of the AO. It would force you to leave certain pieces of equipment behind in the FOB.

Yeah, agreed Raptor. Though for this scenario friendly forces surrounding the area were needed. In future scenarios I'll either make you start closer or make you unable to make a TOB.
