Content
Background
Today it's our turn to stay at the HQ ready for rapid deployment, possibly via helicopter or armored vehicle, in case an emergency situation arises.

List of Slots
LAPD D-Platoon Swat
#1 Sergeant 30-David - Raptor
#2 Senior Officer/Element Leader - Ice
#3 Scout/Assistant Leader - Luis
#4 Officer - Lecter
#5 Officer - Jack
#6 Officer - Captain
#7 Officer - Detective
#8 Officer - Jinxed
#9 Officer - FreakOut
#10 Officer -

Reserve: -
(minimum number of players: 7)

How this structure works:
- The Sergeant coordinates the different elements of the operation (the entry team, snipers, negotiators, EMTs, etc). He provides available information to the entry team which prepares a tactical solution (we will use www.twiddla.com for this purpose).
- The senior officer leads the entry team and is mainly responsible for the development of the assault plan.
- The scout assists the senior officer in particular to gain and maintain a situational picture. He leads the second element in case the team splits up.
(That’s probably not exactly how the LAPD works, but it should be somewhat close.)

Notes:
I just found a brand new, nice map called "Sky Tower" (or "Sky Tower Offices"), and I plan to use it for this event. Hence I'm asking everyone to NOT play this map because that would spoil the fun of the event and diminish the challenge of a completely unknown map.

Sign ups are still possible for the reserve. Experience shows that a few people will eventually not make it to the event.

All the new faces who did not play with AST yet should have a closer look at our tactics. In particular the Tactical Spotlights about room clearance, T-intersection and stacking might be helpful (there are some videos too).

*small bump*

I'll do a quick training right before the event especially for the players who did not play with AST before: http://ast-team.eu.org/forum/44-1130-1

Those players should also read this document to understand our intention and style better.
