| Topic: Air Insertion, in particular fast roping from helicopters
Date and Time: ?
Classification: everyone with access to the AST Arma2 is welcome
Organizer: Raptor
Requirements to join: - compatible modset (at least ACE and ACRE) - working mic
Server: AST|Tactical Server
Content: I would like to test and practice some procedures for insertion (and evacuation) via helicopter and aircraft. Main focus will be fast roping. Probably we will also practice with parachutes. I know this is pretty short-dated, nevertheless I need at least 3 participants in order to practice efficiently. If you sign up, please state whether you can fly a transport chopper (namely a Blackhawk) safely.
Participants: Raptor (Instructor) Booone (student, possible pilot)

| I would be in, if it was couple or at least one hour earlier.

| Well, I'm available all afternoon. Not sure about Booone. Training will last around 2 hours.

| The afternoon is also fine for me. As long as it's later than 1400 UTC.

| Hmm I'm going to be at work at this time unfortunately. However if we repeat the training during the weekend I would gladly help as an helicopter pilot (will probably be a good piloting exercise too).

| The issue is that Booone is low on time at this weekend. Seems like we will do the training in a spontaneous manner whenever enough players are around.
Quote (Warrior) However if we repeat the training during the weekend I would gladly help as an helicopter pilot (will probably be a good piloting exercise too). If you need practice as pilot, I recommend the SP Armoy: Race and transport challenges are nice for practicing. During our training we need some skilled pilots, and anyway I'll probably fly most of the time so you guys can practice the infantry part.
