If you're okay with it Fluffy I'd like to sign up two more friends.
Bruker:
#4, #13, (#3 if MM18 can't make it)

Delta:
#4, #13, #9, (#3 if MM18 can't make it)
Delta should be able to be designated marksman I think, if not I'll swap with him.

Attendance is looking pretty good, I'm looking forward to Saturday.

Btw, there are no Specialists in the Marines... wink Also I'm pretty certain the USMC does not have Designated Marksmen in their fireteam because their rifleman is the team's pointman.

We/I still need a second fireteam leader.

Ah yes lol. Well I had a different scenario in mind when I started this, using the US Army, completely slipped my mind to change the ranking system. As for the DM, he is attached to the squad. Where else would he go if not in the FT? Don't forget the DM is just a rifleman with some marksman training.

I believe the USMC doesn't use this Designated Marksman system. Of course, it's probably not a problem to give a very proficient rifleman a better scope. Anyways, if it's just a standard issue rifle with a better optic that's no problem ... but a pointman wielding an M110 is kinda suboptimal.

Btw, I summed up how a regular USMC Rifle Platoon looks like from one of their field manuals (or whatever they're called for USMC) a while ago, that also lists appropriate ranks if you're interested: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/p6p8t7v7p3ozrub/USMC%20Platoon.pdf

Hey Fluffy. Is it possible for Bruker to be something else but a demolition specialist? He's not too used to handle explosives and for his first match here would rather take something with less, "i will probably kill the whole team if i have to detonate a C4", responsibility. Maybe AR #3 if MM18 isn't there or the machinegunner #12, I see that if he is machinegunner he'll need an assistant.

Tim, the demo specialist doesnt have to handle explosives (and its not that hard anyways, something to go over if needed in the tech check), he's actually not required for this mission. If MM does not make it, he can take his slot.

Booone,

The DM is in fact a part of the USMC. The M14 DMR (the green DMR in game) is actually a USMC used and produced weapon (at MCB Quantico), although it was replaced by the M39 EMR and MK 11 Mod 0, which are being replaced by the M110. As for being on point, it should not be suboptimal. Aside from CQB, the DM should be able to accurately and quickly engage any target at distance up to 600m or sometimes greater. This is part of the training. The DM is just a rifleman with a longer barrel weapon, and better zoom optics.

Everyone else,

Still two slots open, I would like to see this mission at full capacity smile
