The question is quite explanatory, but for those who doesn't understand what I'm talking about is how uCoz will manage a new post from an user, in a thread which last post is the same user.

Not too long ago, I left activated the "added feature". The way it works is that edits the last post adding the new content with a new line saying Added XXXX-XX-XX at XX:XX.

For now, based on requests from some members I changed it back to an usual behaviour that, instead of being added, is a completely new post on the thread.

Now, these features can also be enabled on a per-usergroup basis, so we have more options. In anycase, this thread is to reassure a final decision on what behaviour to assign to these post. Any comments about this are possible.

My main problem with the "added feature" is that the time and date of the orginial post is lost. As you may know we organize a few internal things via forum where the date matters (e.g. member files).

Well would be cool if you at least could modify the rules of "added feature" to dont change original date and time but just add new feature and new date and time under the original text....

You're asking a lot, Ice xD I can't modify that much.

Looks like no one likes your "added feature" mate.

Its not my feature. It's the same for me taking either way. I just don't want to switch the mode just because you (Raptor) have a whim wink
