This section is meant to discuss and organize AST events like planned operations, tournaments, etc. It’s reserved for games supported by AST (i.e. a Squad exists).
The topic of every thread must contain the name of the game, the type and a designation/name, e.g. "[Swat4] Operation Medical Shock". Optional the number of available slots can be included, e.g. "[Arma2] co10 - Progression". The description of every thread should contain date and time in UTC (if already set) e.g. “Saturday, 2013-04-13 at 1600–1830”.
Event information should be provided using one of the following templates:
A Leader's Meeting is basically a briefing for all team-leaders before the actual event. There the commander can already give orders to his subordinated leaders, talk about things which are not important for every player and work out last details of the plan. This way the following briefing for everyone at the start of the event is shorter.
Usually we do a Tech Check a few hours before an event. During this time at least one experienced member will be at our TS3 server ready to deal with every technical issue you might have. This is the right time to ask technical questions, to check if your game and all necessary mods/tools work and if you can join our server. Of course you might ask us for help at any time, but you can’t expect our members to deliver technical support 24/7. And if you ask for help 10 minutes before the event starts, then it’s too late to help you.
