The big problem i think for the multi in arma2 (and OA) is you have just 2 games mod: Domination and insurgency
Domination: you have to take back every village one by one by killing ennemy (infantry and vehicule) and destroy some objectives (radio tower ammo truck...)
Insurgency: Less ennemy guy on the map almost no ennemy vehicule. The ennemy hold a lot of area in the whole map. the goal of this mission is by killing ennemy to find some intel about ennemy ammo cache. then you have to destroy them. Very realistic mission and most of the server who host this mission use the IED mod ad suicid bomber mod, so it become very immersive, and it's exactly what NATO soldier have to do in Afghanistan.
Personally i liked to play on the server of 7th Cavalry for the domination mod. the only bad things is they don't allow to use the JSRS sound mod on their server (the basic sound of the SCAR in arma are ugly) and for the insurgency mod i like to play on 5EURO] server but now nobody play there idk why or the EZ server but same problem it's allways empty.

I already tried with boone long time ago, but it was weird we were each in charge of a fireteam and we can't be in the same team. And we had different objectives to complete. after we have play the domination mod and we allways try to reach the AO and we have been shot down like 5 or 6 time. i think we didn't kill an ennemy in 4 hours

You should join us. We laugh like maniacs a lot of time Even harder when I die ^^. Also we kicked ass in a night ops mission (like 5th try but anyway) :P
